The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Avestruz's Aristides Tabor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 10 played minutes Defensa y justicia got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Mikelar. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Iker Egun put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gogo Abaurre. Andrez Gobbelijns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gogo Abaurre made a huge save. Gogo Abaurre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrez Gobbelijns in the 19th minute. Andrez Gobbelijns received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gogo Abaurre came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrez Gobbelijns slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. Gogo Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Egun in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Defensa y justicia's Gogo Abaurre got control of the ball when Andrez Gobbelijns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensa y justicia's Gogo Abaurre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y justicia from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Mikelar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Avestruz booed when Defensa y justicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrez Gobbelijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Avestruz getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ismael Tallia hit a great ball. Andrez Gobbelijns struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gogo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avestruz. Donato Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The Avestruz fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Avestruz's Andrez Gobbelijns looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Defensa y justicia's Gogo Abaurre got control of the ball when Andrez Gobbelijns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gogo Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrez Gobbelijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrez Gobbelijns to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Defensa y justicia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Esteban Macario hit a great ball. Andrez Gobbelijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Abaurre having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Clemente Tadzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensa y justicia and the Avestruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramon Peruanton struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gogo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avestruz. After a rather tough play, Defensa y justicia's Virgilio Domingues got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrez Gobbelijns in the 72nd minute of play forced Defensa y justicia's goalkeeper Gogo Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Abaurre came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Avestruz's Ismael Tallia. But to his dismay, Ismael Tallia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Gogo Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrez Gobbelijns in the 78th minute of the match. Defensa y justicia's Gogo Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrez Gobbelijns in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Defensa y justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Egun came free, but Gogo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrez Gobbelijns, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gogo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Avestruz got a freekick which was hit by Andrez Gobbelijns. When Avestruz's Andrez Gobbelijns in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensa y justicia's goalie prevented a goal. Ramon Peruanton hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Esteban Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensa y justicia's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Bautista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avestruz fully deserved thier win.
