Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Florin got free with Dionisio Quiroga in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Jeremias Mark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carapaligüe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mark Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Mark in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Jeremias Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Carapaligüe FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Ixona was the one to do the kick off. Saturno FC's Mark Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Mark in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Carapaligüe FC booed when Saturno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carapaligüe FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
