A collision led to Santi Fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Romulo Maraman hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes CA LA RURAL got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Rios. Abel Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Abel Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Conrado Nuno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leon Bernebe, passed just outside the right post. Conrado Nuno might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Bernebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Nuno ran back to his position shaking his head. When Abel Veronica came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Santi Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Veronica couldn't finish the play.
