Ernesto Cilio came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnoldo Astudillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Laureano Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Arnoldo Astudillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Assunta's 唐桦洲 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Cilio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 18 minutes, 唐桦洲 made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. TEAM OFF's Ernesto Cilio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Leon Enaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Vergaray. Assunta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Enaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee ignored Assunta's protests and gave Jaime Marino a yellow card for diving instead. Guaberto Urritz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ernesto Cilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assunta. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Enaut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 唐桦洲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cilio having to interfere. In the 58th minute Laureano Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Arnoldo Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assunta's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Arnoldo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Marino came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Assunta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Marino couldn't finish the play. If Arnoldo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Assunta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
