Ramon Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmacio Nazario had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Hernan Jago's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th minute Emanuel Ixaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, los galacticos 2011's Cirilo Bastiaro got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Monigotes AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monigotes AFC's goalkeeper Ramon Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Feliciano Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Monigotes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Frasco couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, los galacticos 2011's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Frasco came free, but Dalmacio Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Jago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmacio Nazario. los galacticos 2011's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, los galacticos 2011's Cirilo Bastiaro got a free kick in the 96th minute. Feliciano Frasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
