Leo Faron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Flinck went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Flinck in the 28th minute of play forced Relámpagos F. C.'s goalkeeper Leo Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Inge Flinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Faron was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Iker Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The Peman fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Peman's Inge Flinck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Blas Ieltxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Veronica having to interfere. Filiberto Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Perfecto in the 44th minute of the match. Leo Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Relámpagos F. C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peman were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inge Flinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Relámpagos F. C.'s Eduardo Abilio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Inge Flincks short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Leo Faron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th minute Fernando Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Bonadona in the 70th minute of the match. Guillermo Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Relámpagos F. C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inge Flinck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Filiberto Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Perfecto in the 75th minute of play. Saturnino Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Perfecto in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inge Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guillermo Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Peman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Ledesma couldn't finish the play.
