In the 33rd minute, Paikín AFC's Cornelio Ongile ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justino Chan. Justino Chan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Serafin Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cornelio Ongile took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Justino Chan to make any attempt to save it. Justino Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Ongile in the 42nd minute of the match. Paikín AFC's Everardo Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Ongile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Chan having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Ongile stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
