Gavino Tercero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Venancio Felipo. Gavino Tercero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Ederono in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Joaquin Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Gavino Tercero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Resto in the 52nd minute of play. Leo Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gavino Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Robustiano Rito mouthed his way into the referee's book. EL EQUIPO DE JORGE's Leo Bartuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Pastor Regis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Rojelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Roman Etxatxu in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by los leones del oeste's Robustiano Rito. Pastor Regis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mario Rojelio made a huge save. After 85 played minutes los leones del oeste got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Rito. Pastor Regis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Rojelio came out and tried to block the shot, but Pastor Regis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Apolo Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mario Rojelio. That made the score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. los leones del oeste's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
