Teodosio Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Baptista in the 13th minute of the match. Teodosio Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Teodosio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Jakue having to interfere. Maximo Nesto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Jorge Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Silvio Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Joel Mark dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Abaunza, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in La Cruz del Sur's zone, Silvio Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Jakue came out of the goal and Silvio Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 minutes of play, los pibes canayas's Cristiano Baptista made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Jakue was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Mark to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Lixandro got free with Teodosio Jakue in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, La Cruz del Sur's Maximo Nesto got a free kick in the 60th minute. Teodosio Jakue was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvio Rubio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Baptista in the 65th minute of play forced La Cruz del Sur's goalkeeper Teodosio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. los pibes canayas's attentive Angelo Lixandro managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Argider made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. With a little luck, La Cruz del Sur's Teodosio Jakue got control of the ball when Silvio Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of los pibes canayas booed when La Cruz del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Jakue came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by los pibes canayas's Silvio Rubio. But to his dismay, Silvio Rubio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 75th minute, los pibes canayas's Silvio Rubio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodosio Jakue. Teodosio Jakue yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Silvio Rubio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Cruz del Sur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Silvio Rubio scored to the left of an out of position Teodosio Jakue, making the score, 1-6. Teodosio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, La Cruz del Sur's Teodosio Jakue got control of the ball when Silvio Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvio Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Piarres in the 97th minute of play forced La Cruz del Sur's goalkeeper Teodosio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded los pibes canayas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Cruz del Sur.
