The supporters of Calzada AFC booed when C.A.River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriana Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd match minute, Calzada AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Fabian Oliviero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. C.A.River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Tomás Chan scored to the left of an out of position Christiano de Mendonça, making the score, 1-1. Fabian Oliviero might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Oliviero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aurelio Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Isidoro Urtzi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christiano de Mendonça was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. C.A.River Plate's Christiano de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.River Plate from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes in the game, Tomás Chan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christiano de Mendonça having to interfere. Christiano de Mendonça stood somewhat misplaced when Paulino Laurendi came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Fabian Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Calzada AFC's Tomás Chan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christiano de Mendonça. Christiano de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 30 minutes into the game, C.A.River Plate's Aurelio Inguma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Flor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Fabian Oliviero took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Flor. Eustaquio Flor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Paulino Laurendi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christiano de Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isidoro Urtzi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 40th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Oliviero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute C.A.River Plate were awarded a corner. Zacarias Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. Christiano de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Laurendi in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Calzada AFC defense, Aurelio Inguma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Flor. The Calzada AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Flor should have stopped the shot. C.A.River Plate's Christiano de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Chan in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Calzada AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ruperto Katia hit a great ball. Eustaquio Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Paulino Laurendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiano de Mendonça. C.A.River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Laurendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-4. In the 77th minute, Arnulfo Gustau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calzada AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-4. C.A.River Plate's Christiano de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Laurendi in the 85th minute of play. Christiano de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Urtzi in the 87th minute of play. Tomás Chan took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano de Mendonça. Christiano de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-4. 94 minutes into the match, C.A.River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Chan came free, but Christiano de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calzada AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
