After a defensive mix-up in Merlina.f.c's zone, 沈然森 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Maurino came out of the goal and 沈然森 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Mincho in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Maurino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 沈然森 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tomás Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Merlina.f.c got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Criston. With a little luck, Merlina.f.c's Tomás Maurino got control of the ball when Freddy Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Criston scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Jakes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Freddy Mincho struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tomás Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for club gimnasia de tandil. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

A collision led to Merlina.f.c getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Moises Bento hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Mincho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Maurino saved Merlina.f.c from getting behind. 沈然森 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, 沈然森 made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Maurino. Merlina.f.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merlina.f.c fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Tomás Maurino went to the wrong direction when Marcelo Bermudo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 101stth minute of the game Freddy Mincho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merlina.f.c's Tomás Maurino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
