Toyo's Gaspar Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Aurre in the 43rd minute of play. Canalla de Rosario's Rodrigo Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Dimas in the 45th minute of play. If Ksawery Sliwinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Mon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 78 minutes, Alejandro Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalla de Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Ugaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Aurre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Chuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Toyo defense, Alejandro Ugaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Chuan. The Toyo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Chuan should have stopped the shot. Rodrigo Mon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severino Dimas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. Ricardo Aurre struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gaspar Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalla de Rosario. The Canalla de Rosario manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Toyo to win.
