Spectators: 6491 (Terracing: 5350, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Everardo Goi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Everardo Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Antonio Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Instituto Imperial II's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Jobo came free, but Ivan Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Instituto Imperial II defense, Eugenio Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Odilon. The Instituto Imperial II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Odilon should have stopped the shot. Antonio Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Eugenio Perico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Instituto Imperial II and the Guardamonte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Instituto Imperial II's Eugenio Perico got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eugenio Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ivan Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guardamonte FC's Antonio Atarrabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Guardamonte FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto Imperial II's zone, Edi Angelkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Odilon came out of the goal and Edi Angelkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eugenio Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardamonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Jobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Guardamonte FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edi Angelkov was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Ivan Odilon managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Guardamonte FC's Reynaldo Frutos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Frutos had several of the Instituto Imperial II's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Ivan Odilon as he didn't even see the shot coming. 72 minutes into the game, Guardamonte FC's Edi Angelkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Odilon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Reynaldo Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Odilon having to make a save. Robustiano Eron hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Antonio Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Edi Angelkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Odilon came out and tried to block the shot, but Edi Angelkov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 83rd minute. Ivan Odilon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edi Angelkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st play minute Reynaldo Frutos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Odilon. 0-7. Ivan Odilon made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Reynaldo Frutos sent off a good shot on target. Guardamonte FC played a much better game than Instituto Imperial II and deserved their victory. The Instituto Imperial II players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
