The supporters of Instituto Imperial II booed when Jardón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Perico scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Cibran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Jardón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Perico came free, but Natalio Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Odilon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Gartzi in the 16th minute. Ildefonso Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ivan Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Jardón AFC's Ivan Odilon threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gualterio Aguilera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 22 minutes into the match, Instituto Imperial II's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguilera came free, but Ivan Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jardón AFC booed when Instituto Imperial II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Odilon stood somewhat misplaced when Gualterio Aguilera came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Ivan Odilon made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ildefonso Gartzi sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Gartzi in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Odilon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the game, Robustiano Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Instituto Imperial II's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jardón AFC the free kick. Ivan Odilon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Aguilera went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 48 minutes, Nemesio Galsino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Instituto Imperial II and the Jardón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Instituto Imperial II getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Nemesio Galsino hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Goi to make the kick off. Ivan Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Aguilera in the 58th minute of play. Jardón AFC's Gualterio Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Gartzi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ivan Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardón AFC. After 66th play minutes Gualterio Aguilera shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Ivan Odilon and just under the crossbar into goal. Ivan Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Aguilera in the 70th minute of play. Gualterio Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ivan Odilon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Gartzi's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Jardón AFC booed when Instituto Imperial II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Odilon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Perico got free with Natalio Cibran in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Instituto Imperial II's Ivan Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Gartzi in the 99th minute of play.
