Samuel Maciel in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiberto Heriberto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 37 minutes into the game, Horacio Porfirio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Martin Berart was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Jakes in the 45th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Porfirio to make the kick off. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when WaiBOP United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Jakes in the 72nd minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, one of WaiBOP United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
