Olimpiu Stoicescu started the match with the kick off. Rodolfo Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dirk Gasteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk Gasteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Mambru in the 6th minute of play. Efrain Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes C.A Rumipal got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Panfilo. Dirk Gasteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zayveon Corredera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes in the game, Zayveon Corredera dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Efrain Mambru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dirk Gasteren having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Rodolfo Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Rumipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Raphael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Gasteren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Raphael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dirk Gasteren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Cachetazo Futbol Barrial booed when C.A Rumipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk Gasteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zayveon Corredera in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efrain Mambru to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Zayveon Corredera could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Dirk Gasteren however easily saved by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Efrain Mambru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dirk Gasteren. Cachetazo Futbol Barrial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Mambru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Rodrigo Palacio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cachetazo Futbol Barrial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Palacio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cachetazo Futbol Barrial getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Olimpiu Stoicescu hit a great ball. Zayveon Corredera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dirk Gasteren made a huge save. Manole Sterescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 80th playminute. When Rodolfo Raphael came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the C.A Rumipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Raphael couldn't finish the play. After 88 played minutes C.A Rumipal got a freekick which was hit by Martin Milian. After a defensive mix-up in Cachetazo Futbol Barrial's zone, Efrain Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Gasteren came out of the goal and Efrain Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dirk Gasteren made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Efrain Mambru sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, C.A Rumipal's Rodolfo Raphael dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded C.A Rumipal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cachetazo Futbol Barrial.
