Eliseo Cebrian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Joaquin Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Etruria booed when Rey de Copas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Guillermes short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Eliseo Cebrian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Joaquin Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carmelo Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Anibal Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Etruria's goalkeeper Eliseo Cebrian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Etruria's Eliseo Cebrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Etruria from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Rey de Copas's Joaquin Dolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Cebrian. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Etruria's zone, Julian Guillerme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Cebrian came out of the goal and Julian Guillerme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rey de Copas's Anibal Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bordat in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Carmelo Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Etruria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eliseo Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Carmelo Orkatz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Gaizko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 78th minute, Joaquin Dolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rey de Copas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 81st minute, Julian Guillerme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Guillerme in the 90th minute of the match. Carmelo Orkatz in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anibal Gaizko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rey de Copas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
