Bernardino Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario's Guido Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Rodrigo Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Severiano Aureo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Scuandal FC's Severiano Aureo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Severiano Aureo made the kick off in the second half. If Leandro Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Scuandal FC booed when Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Rene Thomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Rene Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scuandal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. If Damaso Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Aureo came free, but Guido Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Rosario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Scuandal FC's Severiano Aureo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Rey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Damaso Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Iigo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Scuandal FC had played much better football throughout.
