Macomitas's Severo Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Macomitas's Severo Ederono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Brion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Abelardo Diaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benjamin Diaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Diaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Diaz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Macomitas got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Txurio. In the 31st minute, Xaver Freijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Benjamin Diaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abelardo Diaz, 4-1. When Rumi's Benjamin Diaz in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macomitas's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Alfredo Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Goizeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Diaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Diaz in the 41st minute. The supporters of Rumi booed when Macomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benjamin Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Diaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin Diaz made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Diaz. Macomitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Abelardo Diaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Benjamin Diaz notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Macomitas's Abelardo Diaz. Abelardo Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Teofilo Regis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abelardo Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Herrera struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Abelardo Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumi. 80 minutes into the match, Macomitas's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Garaile came free, but Abelardo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Rumi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaver Freijo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Diaz having to interfere. Rumi's Gavino Herrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Gavino Herrera off the ground. The supporters of Macomitas booed when Rumi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Florencio Garaile cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Abelardo Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Benjamin Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumi's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Diaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Rumi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
