Gogo Oskitz came out of the goal and Aquiles Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Celso Astigar came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Canayaman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Astigar couldn't finish the play. When Wilfredo Fliz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC Canayaman fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Higinio Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Canayaman's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Florinio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Enetz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Oskitz saved FC Canayaman from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match Wilfredo Fliz climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Mauro Gasteiz. 25 minutes in the game, Georgi Kamburov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mauro Gasteiz having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Celso Astigar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mauro Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leonel Lekubegi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guernica AFC's protests and gave Leonel Lekubegi a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Guernica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Lekubegi. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Wilfredo Fliz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wilfredo Fliz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Mauro Gasteiz 35 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Wilfredo Fliz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Gasteiz. The goal made the score 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Celso Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mauro Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Oskitz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leonardo Enetz sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Fliz in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Georgi Kamburov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Canayaman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georgi Kamburov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Gasteiz came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Canayaman's Wilfredo Fliz. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Fliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Mauro Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georgi Kamburov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgi Kamburov in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, FC Canayaman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Florinio to maneuver through the defense. Elias Joseph's late challenge caught a FC Canayaman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Joseph helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Elias Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Higinio Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Canayaman's protests and gave Higinio Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Canayaman's Higinio Florinio got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Canayaman had played much better football throughout.
