When Artemio Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Miñones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Guillerme couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Sepulturas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Havier to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Sepulturas AFC's protests and gave Dante Havier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Sepulturas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Havier to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Segundo Ciceron notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sepulturas AFC's Teofilo Jayvier. Teofilo Jayvier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artemio Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sepulturas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Chumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Artemio Guillerme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Jayvier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Segundo Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teofilo Jayvier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Artemio Guillerme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Flavio Pagomari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miñones and the Sepulturas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Miñones got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Pagomari. Albano Ekialde came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sepulturas AFC's Benigno Colas. But to his dismay, Benigno Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Artemio Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Guillerme in the 85th minute of play. If Artemio Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Miñones booed when Sepulturas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Havier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Cicerons short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Teofilo Jayvier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 96 minutes into the match, Segundo Ciceron notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sepulturas AFC's Teofilo Jayvier. Teofilo Jayvier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
