Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Erramu started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Constant Deswarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moteagudo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constant Deswarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Constant Deswarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Ofelio having to make a save. Ramiro Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Luciano Cordeara sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Moteagudo AFC's zone, Sergio Haritzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo França came out of the goal and Sergio Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Constant Deswarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Lorenzo Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cordeara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Erramu scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urbano Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Armando Nesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ramiro Ofelio made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Sergio Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Eliseo Santiago threw the ball into play from the sideline. Moteagudo AFC's Isaac Lastur quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Urbano Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Cordeara's late challenge caught a Quiñihual's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Cordeara helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Moteagudo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Cordeara. Ramiro Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Evaristo Martino sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moteagudo AFC's Luciano Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Urbano Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moteagudo AFC's Arlindo França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Haritzeder in the 68th minute of play. Urbano Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cordeara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Quiñihual getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Justo Gabon hit a great ball. Urbano Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Arlindo França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sergio Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Martino took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Ofelio. Ramiro Ofelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ramiro Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Martino in the 95th minute of the match.
