In the 9th match minute, Mangoré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Jerico to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, Mangoré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mangoré's zone, Tanek Kaszubowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, douglas's Eriberto Palos got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Vicente Sandaili made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Fernado. douglas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Nemesio Romero notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of douglas's Conrado Fernado. Conrado Fernado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nemesio Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Jorrin in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, douglas's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Romero came free, but Conrado Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Caradaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in douglas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mangoré a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Siro Ilixo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of douglas's Conrado Fernado. 1-3. douglas's Conrado Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save douglas from getting a goal against them. Luisito Bermund took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Iruinea. Isidoro Iruinea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Conrado Fernado made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Siro Jorrin sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Lehen during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes douglas got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Lehen. Nemesio Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Fernado having to interfere. Conrado Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Romero in the 80th minute of play. When Siro Jorrin came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Mangoré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Jorrin couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Jorrin got free with Conrado Fernado in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 minutes, Aristides Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the douglas and the Mangoré players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, douglas's goalkeeper Conrado Fernado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Jorrin. In the 97th minute of the match, Siro Jorrin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conrado Fernado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mangoré's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
