In the 12th minute, Ulisses Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmiro Belarmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 16 played minutes Calden got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Raitin. If Carmelo Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Travesía's Delmiro Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Travesía from getting a goal against them. After having played for 29 minutes, Carmelo Raitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Raitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Eloy Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Travesía's Leonel Quinteros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Seme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ulisses Proença came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmiro Belarmo could save by the left post. 47 minutes into the game, Astor Sotil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Travesía's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calden the free kick. In the 47th minute, Astor Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Travesía's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Pirmin came free, but Delmiro Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Quinteros to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Proença in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Belarmo saved Travesía from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Rodolfo Pirmin made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Belarmo. Travesía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calden's goalkeeper Hipolito Seme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Travesía's Astor Sotil got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Astor Sotil off the ground. A collision led to Travesía getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Astor Sotil hit a great ball. Rodolfo Pirmin took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Belarmo. Delmiro Belarmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The supporters of Travesía booed when Calden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Støle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Belarmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Raitin went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Cecilio Donzel's late challenge caught a Travesía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Donzel helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Travesía defense, Carmelo Raitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Belarmo. The Travesía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Belarmo should have stopped the shot. Delmiro Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Pirmin in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Raitin in the 97th minute of play forced Travesía's goalkeeper Delmiro Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calden fans cheered their team off the field, for while Travesía had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
