A collision led to Carrizalito FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Timoteo Lopez hit a great ball. Xerez's Fabian Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Alvaro Piarres notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carrizalito FC's Benjamin Leoiar. Benjamin Leoiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Piarres in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Leoiar saved Carrizalito FC from getting behind. Carrizalito FC's Benjamin Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Piarres in the 16th minute of play. Fabian Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benjamin Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Carrizalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Cutts to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Leoiar having to interfere. If Aureliano Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Carrizalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Piarres came free, but Benjamin Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrizalito FC's Aureliano Quentin got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Xerez's Ceferino Sugoi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alvaro Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Gavino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Carrizalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Orzaize. Xerez's Gavino Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Xerez from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes, Alvaro Piarres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xerez and the Carrizalito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Xerez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Piarres to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Leoiar having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Xerez's goalkeeper Gavino Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Orlondo in the 56th minute of the match. If Alvaro Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Orlondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Primitivo Orlondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Dimas having to make a save. In the 72nd minute Primitivo Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ceferino Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrizalito FC's Benjamin Leoiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizalito FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Piarres got free with Benjamin Leoiar in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavino Dimas came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizalito FC's Primitivo Orlondo. But to his dismay, Primitivo Orlondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Xerez's zone, Aureliano Quentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Dimas came out of the goal and Aureliano Quentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Carrizalito FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
