After having played for 15 minutes, Danilo Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Perla Negra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, boca juniors's Jonas Oliverios got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Nereo Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Club Atlético Perla Negra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Albano Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jose Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Rios in the 29th minute of play forced boca juniors's goalkeeper Conrado Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Gabino in the 32nd minute of the match. Maximo Bazkoare hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Jorge Gabino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Rios to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Remigio Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jonas Oliverios fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored boca juniors's protests and gave Jonas Oliverios a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Perla Negra booed when boca juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, boca juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Manilan came free, but Conrado Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Remigio Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Eufemio having to interfere. In the 68th minute Remigio Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to boca juniors getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ramon Isadore hit a great ball. Gaudencio Rios came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conrado Eufemio could save by the left post. Ermegildo Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Conrado Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Rios's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a little luck, boca juniors's Conrado Eufemio got control of the ball when Nereo Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Danilo Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, boca juniors's goalkeeper Conrado Eufemio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Rios. Club Atlético Perla Negra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
