Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Fresco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Sergio Espino managed to get in a good position for a shot. UPAU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Espino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Munio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ricardo Fresco came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Stayle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Fresco couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute of the match Fausto Conrao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Eufemio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, UPAU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Fresco came free, but Elias Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Espino in the 26th minute of play forced Stayle FC's goalkeeper Siro Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Magno Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stayle FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ricardo Fresco hit a great ball. Sergio Espino struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Siro Munio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UPAU FC. After 41 played minutes Stayle FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Fliz. Raimundo Venceslas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Siro Munio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Stayle FC's zone, Marcial Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Munio came out of the goal and Marcial Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Venceslas in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Venceslas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Venceslas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Munio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind UPAU FC's goalkeeper Elias Eufemio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Venceslas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Munio was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Stayle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Venceslas came free, but Siro Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Elias Eufemio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Siro Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Siro Munio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Venceslas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Batista got free with Elias Eufemio in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80thth minute of the game Raimundo Venceslas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stayle FC's Siro Munio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Siro Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Espino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Venceslas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Munio saved Stayle FC from getting behind. Sergio Espino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Munio having to interfere. Stayle FC:s Siro Munio showed great skill when he stopped Sergio Espino:s penalty. In the 90th minute, Alex Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, UPAU FC's Nemesio Abeijon tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. UPAU FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Stayle FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nemesio Abeijon took the corner.
