In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nicolas's goalkeeper Eloy Ayala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modesto Omero spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club El Grifo Imperial's goal. Gavino Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gavino Joanes struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Generoso Llin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nicolas. After 78 minutes of play, Nicolas's Modesto Omero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Llin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 84 minutes, Modesto Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nicolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Club El Grifo Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Piearres came free, but Generoso Llin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Montel in the 87th minute of play. Honorio Quintan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Eloy Ayala made a huge save. Ambrosio Cicerons short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Eloy Ayala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nemesio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Piearres in the 93rd minute of play. Nemesio Venerando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Llin having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Club El Grifo Imperial's Astor Urti got a free kick in the 95th minute. The corner led Nicolas's Arsenio Montel to a score. 3-0 in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Nicolas were the better team. Nicolas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
