Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Epifanio Baumar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Modesto Omero took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Lizardi. Erasmo Lizardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Dalmacio Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nicolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Lizardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10thth minute of the game Gavino Joanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lomitas AFC's Erasmo Lizardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Epifanio Baumar might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Ayala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Baumar ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Polo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Ayala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dalmacio Piearres struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Erasmo Lizardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nicolas. If Gavino Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Dalmacio Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lomitas AFC's Erasmo Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Venerando in the 25th minute of play. Eloy Ayala came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Lomitas AFC's Pedro Polo. But to his dismay, Pedro Polo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eloy Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Baumar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Silvano Frechoso's late challenge caught a Lomitas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Polo in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Nicolas's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Baumar came free, but Eloy Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Joanes in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Lizardi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Duarte's late challenge caught a Nicolas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Modesto Duarte hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nicolas getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nemesio Venerando hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Joanes in the 46th minute of play forced Lomitas AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Polo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eloy Ayala firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nicolas booed when Lomitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Dalmacio Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Polo in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pedro Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Ayala was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the game, Nicolas's Modesto Omero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Lizardi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Modesto Omero sped through Lomitas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erasmo Lizardi. Paulino Mirande hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Eloy Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Baumar in the 95th minute of play. Gavino Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erasmo Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
