The referee ignored Sauce's protests and gave Julio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sauce's Julio Arias got a free kick in the 4th minute. Urbano Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bernard in the 11th minute of play. Guillermo Txordon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Red Bull's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Julio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Samuel Tomi came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull's Fausto Efraim. But to his dismay, Fausto Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Urbano Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sauce's Matias Berdoi got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Txordon came free, but Samuel Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Guillermo Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Txordon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Estebano having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Urbano Estebano came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sauce's Flavio Grabiel. But to his dismay, Flavio Grabiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Red Bull's goalkeeper Urbano Estebano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Grabiel. Samuel Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fausto Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Arias hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Melchor Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sauce booed when Red Bull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Remigio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Rigoberto Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Tomi having to interfere. The supporters of Sauce booed when Red Bull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guillermo Txordon came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Red Bull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Txordon couldn't finish the play. Sauce's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
