Anselmo Mikeldi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Riachuelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Txordon came free, but Dalmacio Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Rubio got free with Urbano Estebano in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Aguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riachuelo FC the free kick. In the 7th minute, Rigoberto Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Bull's Urbano Estebano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Jairo Rubio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Estebano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Manuel Frechoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Urbano Estebano made a huge save. Fausto Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dalmacio Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Mikeldi in the 24th minute of play. Melchor Remigio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Red Bull getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fausto Efraim hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game, Anselmo Mikeldi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Urbano Estebano having to interfere. Red Bull's Urbano Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Frechoso in the 34th minute of play. Fausto Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dalmacio Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Txordon made a kick off. Red Bull's Urbano Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Frechoso in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Frechoso in the 61st minute of play forced Red Bull's goalkeeper Urbano Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Mikeldi in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Riachuelo FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Baldomero Quinto hit a great ball. Manuel Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Estebano having to interfere. Guillermo Txordon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Ferran having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Red Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Mikeldi came free, but Urbano Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Manuel Frechoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riachuelo FC's Dalmacio Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Txordon in the 78th minute of play. Urbano Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Mikeldi in the 85th minute of the match. Riachuelo FC's Dalmacio Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Txordon in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Red Bull:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riachuelo FC:s goal. Urbano Estebano had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Frechoso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riachuelo FC fully deserved thier win.
