The crowd rose to their feet as Ignas Borgaila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Nardo. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Virila came free, but Leonardo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Serapio got free with Donato Nardo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Racing Club de Avellaneda fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Racing Club de Avellaneda's Ignas Borgaila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Benicio Cesaro in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maray Club de Futbol's Lucas Gaztea. Donato Nardo was a little too slow when Ignas Borgaila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Racing Club de Avellaneda made a substitution. Alonzo Isauro replaced Cristobal Orlondo. After 54 played minutes Maray Club de Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Kaxen. In the 55th minute of the match Ignas Borgaila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Nardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Maray Club de Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Ignas Borgaila came free, but Donato Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Ramond in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Alonzo Isauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club de Avellaneda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maray Club de Futbol the free kick. After 74 played minutes Maray Club de Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Gaztea. After having played for 78 minutes, Ignas Borgaila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignas Borgaila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Ignas Borgaila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Colas was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Tomás Ramond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Ramond really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1.
