When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Froilan Pio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Urbano Ibañez to make any attempt to save it. Froilan Pio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Urbano Ibañez made a huge save. In the 18th minute Moises Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Celso Martinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garuapé FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Marcelo Bastian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbano Ibañez. Rampla F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Rampla F.C's goalkeeper Urbano Ibañez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Martinez. Gabriel Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Eutropio in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Felo in the 42nd minute of play forced Rampla F.C's goalkeeper Urbano Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Felo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbano Ibañez came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Felo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Garuapé FC booed when Rampla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Ibañez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Garuapé FC's Moises Manni. But to his dismay, Moises Manni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Urbano Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Pio in the 56th minute of the match. Urbano Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Martinez in the 58th minute of play. Froilan Pio took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Ibañez. Urbano Ibañez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 64 minutes into the game, Garuapé FC's Celso Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Ibañez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After some careless play in the Rampla F.C defense, Froilan Pio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Ibañez. The Rampla F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Ibañez should have stopped the shot. Rampla F.C's Urbano Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Pio in the 73rd minute of play. When Garuapé FC's Froilan Pio in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Urbano Ibañez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gabriel Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Eutropio in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Moises Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Manni scored 8-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbano Ibañez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Gabriel Felo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Gabriel Felo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Ibañez. Rampla F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Felo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Urbano Ibañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
