The supporters of Sanford AFC booed when Nobleza F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Bertran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Leobardo having to make a save. After 67 minutes, Urbano Guillerme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nobleza F.C and the Sanford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Nobleza F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Bertran to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sanford AFC's zone, Santos Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Leobardo came out of the goal and Santos Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Guido Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nobleza F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Nobleza F.C's Lázaro Bertran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Leobardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santos Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Leobardo having to interfere. The Nobleza F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
