Spectators: 7156 (Terracing: 5368, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeremias Ubelteso made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Etxekopar in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Bilintx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sixto Etxekopar sped through Libertad FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elias Bilintx. The CAlve FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when CAlve FC's Baldomero Teodor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elias Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Etxekopar in the 29th minute of play. Elias Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Libertad FC's Elias Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Etxekopar in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Etxekopar to make the kick off. The nice shot from Baldomero Teodor in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Elias Bilintx had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 59th minute of the match, Sixto Etxekopar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elias Bilintx saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Teodor got free with Elias Bilintx in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sixto Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Jeremias Ubelteso made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Nuñez. CAlve FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Baldomero Teodor struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Elias Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAlve FC. In the 70th minute, Silvestre Laffitte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elias Bilintx, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Libertad FC defense, Baldomero Teodor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Bilintx. The Libertad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Bilintx should have stopped the shot. Saul Piearres hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Gualterio Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, CAlve FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Celipe to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes, Libertad FC's Ovidio Cuartio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fidel Nuñez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Libertad FC reached it. Fidel Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ubelteso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CAlve FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
