Baldomiro Efraim hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Sixto Etxekopar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to CAlve FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ruperto Celipe hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Gervasio Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Moreira's Osvaldo Unax got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, CAlve FC's Ruperto Celipe got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Arnoldo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Rayman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, one of Moreira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Moreira's zone, Sixto Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Honrio came out of the goal and Sixto Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Serapio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Etxekopar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Moreira's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Teodor came free, but Silvano Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Baldomero Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAlve FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Teodor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Honrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sixto Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the CAlve FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Sixto Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Honrio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moreira's Gervasio Maxin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Silvestre Laffitte hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Silvano Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Arnoldo Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Silvestre Laffitte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Honrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, CAlve FC's Zé Pedro Sá got a free kick in the 76th minute. Silvano Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Laffitte in the 85th minute of the match. Baldomero Teodor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Honrio having to make a save. Baldomero Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Silvestre Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Honrio. Moreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. CAlve FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
