Spectators: 7111 (Terracing: 5335, Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Haitz kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Mattin during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Libertad FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Mattin. In the 11th minute, Damaso Bieito made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Jokin. Cabinda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Libertad FC were furious when Cristo Idacio was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Libertad FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabinda:s goal. Arnaldo Belo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Robustiano Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Jokin having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Robustiano Emesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabinda's Filiberto Jokin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Libertad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Emesto to maneuver through the defense. Libertad FC's Fidel Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Haitz in the 31st minute of play. Damaso Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Jokin having to interfere. Emilio Donzel's late challenge caught a Libertad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Donzel helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Jokin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Jokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Bieito in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Libertad FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Emesto made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cabinda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anibal Roderigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Robustiano Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Robustiano Emesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabinda's Filiberto Jokin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Damaso Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damaso Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Filiberto Jokin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Donzel was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Cabinda's Emilio Donzel got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Damaso Bieito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filiberto Jokin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Libertad FC booed when Cabinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Damaso Bieito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Jokin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Filiberto Jokin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Emesto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cabinda's zone, Robustiano Emesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Jokin came out of the goal and Robustiano Emesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Jokin having to interfere. In the 96th minute, one of Cabinda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cabinda. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Libertad FC's Teo Gaizkine got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Filiberto Jokin. Libertad FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
