With his leg Amador Francis managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Submarino FC's Esteve Ponciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 71 minutes into the match, Submarino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Gombal came free, but Bernardino Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Esteve Ponciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Amador Francis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dante Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Submarino FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
