Monteagudo AFC's Erasmo Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Charro in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Mauricio Orzaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preston Haley in the 39th minute of play forced Corbett's goalkeeper Albino Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Preston Haley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Padro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Orzaize got free with Erasmo Senin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Pastor Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Senin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erasmo Izel. Erasmo Senin made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mauricio Orzaize sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Monteagudo AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pastor Tajo hit a great ball. Mauricio Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Corbett's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Abecia came free, but Albino Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monteagudo AFC's Erasmo Senin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Monteagudo AFC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Corbett's Erasmo Senin threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fidel Charro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the match, Monteagudo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Charro came free, but Erasmo Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Corbett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Abecia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aquilino Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteagudo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Veremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
