Bernardo Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ritchie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Gartxot in the 26th minute of play forced GIMNASIA es JUJUY's goalkeeper Ivan Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Firmin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guaraní AFC's Bonifacio Naelio got a free kick in the 50th minute. When Wilfredo Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the GIMNASIA es JUJUY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Refugio couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was beautiful to see Guaraní AFC's Gilberto Rafel in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 80 minutes, Siro Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaraní AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Gartxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaraní AFC's Siro Gartxot got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severo Pudes scored 0-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Firmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Gartxot in the 92nd minute of play forced GIMNASIA es JUJUY's goalkeeper Ivan Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Guaraní AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Gergori to maneuver through the defense. Guaraní AFC's Bernardo Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Fagondo in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Guaraní AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GIMNASIA es JUJUY.
