Vinicio Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Martinez having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Evaristo Lop reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Martinez. The goal made the score 1-0. After 10 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Birila. Saverio Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Gilen in the 12th minute of the match. Evaristo Lop kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Conrado Martinez was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Vinicio Oxarra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vinicio Oxarra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Mikelats came free, but Saverio Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chañarito booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Intxixu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Evaristo Lop hit a great ball. Vinicio Oxarra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Conrado Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Chañarito getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Desiderio Gilen hit a great ball. Vinicio Oxarra didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. Villa Mitre's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 46 minutes into the game, Villa Mitre's Vinicio Oxarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Vinicio Oxarra made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Lucio Miro in the 53rd minute really tested Saverio Bela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vinicio Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Vicente Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Mitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Vinicio Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Oxarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Lop took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Martinez. Conrado Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 65 minutes, Vinicio Oxarra made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chañarito's Conrado Martinez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Oxarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Oxarra ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Birila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Martinez having to make a save. Conrado Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Oxarra in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañarito's goalkeeper Conrado Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nereo Ioritz hit a great ball. Fabricio Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Saverio Bela made a huge save. Conrado Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Vicente Birila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vinicio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Birila in the 89th minute of play forced Chañarito's goalkeeper Conrado Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Conrado Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Mitre's Vicente Birila got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Chañarito got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Miro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Oxarra in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Vicente Birila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Villa Mitre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
