The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fidel Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Israel Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adrian Naike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute of the match Zancoles FC got a corner. Colón de Santa Fe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Benvide ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zancoles FC's Felipe Benvide was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Israel Javiar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aldo Cavallo made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jerzy Tychy immediately put the ball in play. If Jose Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Ursino in the 22nd minute of play. Alejandro Tadzio made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Adrian Matai sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Colón de Santa Fe booed when Zancoles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Jose Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adrian Naike fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colón de Santa Fe's protests and gave Adrian Naike a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Naike hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Laureano Heriberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colón de Santa Fe's Israel Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zancoles FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Colón de Santa Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Benvide took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Colón de Santa Fe's zone, Laureano Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Javiar came out of the goal and Laureano Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Freddy Txeru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zancoles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colón de Santa Fe the free kick. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Colón de Santa Fe. Placido Jerrald stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alejandro Tadzio. 1-0. Israel Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Heriberto in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerzy Tychy made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zancoles FC's Basilio Etxekopar. After 64 minutes of play, Colón de Santa Fe's Adrian Naike made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Tadzio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Zancoles FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rogelio Playo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Laureano Heriberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Javiar was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Alejandro Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Laureano Heribertos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Israel Javiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Heriberto in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Javiar saved Colón de Santa Fe from getting behind. With his leg Israel Javiar managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Zancoles FC's Laureano Heriberto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Zancoles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Ursino came free, but Alejandro Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
