Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jose Ursino started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Dubardo in the 5th minute of play forced Colón de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Israel Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Colón de Santa Fe's Jose Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emilio Abaunza struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Israel Javiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo AFC. Emilio Abaunza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Israel Javiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Colón de Santa Fe's Israel Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colón de Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. Israel Javiar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Emilio Abaunza sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Colón de Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Dubardo came free, but Israel Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Adrian Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colón de Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Dubardo in the 29th minute of play forced Colón de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Israel Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Israel Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Ursino might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Ursino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Petre Bulgar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Naike in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Pueblo AFC booed when Colón de Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Dubardo to make the kick off. If Jerzy Tychy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colón de Santa Fe's Israel Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Dubardo in the 55th minute of play. Danilo Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Adrian Matai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Bartolo Rios made a huge save. Colón de Santa Fe's Adrian Matai got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Adrian Matai notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pueblo AFC's Bartolo Rios. Bartolo Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bartolo Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Matai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bartolo Rios firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute, Froilan Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colón de Santa Fe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
