Emiliano Egoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Truylos in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Melchor Etxatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferruccio Vani. C.A.Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Etxatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
