The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ciro Treglia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Freddy Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Muno having to interfere. Ciro Treglia in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Americo Guilabertus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gustavo Gora charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Gora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Cafres F.C's Ciro Treglia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Ur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jeronimo Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Ciro Treglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Cristian Maurin made a precise shot to the right of Americo Guilabertus. Tambillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Treglia in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Guilabertus saved Tambillos from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Los Cafres F.C's Domingos Ilixo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 37th minute, Horia Coman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Galindo, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Tambillos booed when Los Cafres F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Cafres F.C's Jeronimo Muno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Ur in the 43rd minute of play. Jeronimo Muno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Behe, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Treglia to make the kick off. Tambillos's Americo Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Ilixo in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Treglia came free, but Americo Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Maurin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Domingos Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambillos's Americo Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Treglia in the 63rd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Cafres F.C's goalkeeper Jeronimo Muno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Maurin's late challenge caught a Tambillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Maurin helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Maurin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Cafres F.C's Cristian Maurin got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Los Cafres F.C's Horia Coman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horia Coman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Cafres F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horia Coman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Los Cafres F.C:s Jeronimo Muno showed great skill when he stopped Arturo Galindo:s penalty. Arturo Galindo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Muno. Jeronimo Muno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Ur in the 88th minute of play forced Los Cafres F.C's goalkeeper Jeronimo Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Freddy Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
