The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Pinto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Los Cafres F.C's Jeronimo Muno got control of the ball when Edgardo Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Muno having to interfere. Ciro Treglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edgard Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ciro Treglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cafres F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Treglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cristian Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Los Cafres F.C's Ciro Treglia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Domingos Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edgard Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Cafres F.C. If Ciro Treglia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Muno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Saltamones FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Cafres F.C were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Treglia made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Los Cafres F.C got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Gamus. In the 52nd minute, Edgardo Otsoko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saltamones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saltamones FC's goalkeeper Edgard Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Treglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Muno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Uzuri in the 64th minute of the match. Gerardo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Treglia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Edgard Pinto made a huge save. Edgard Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Treglia in the 83rd minute of play. Ciro Treglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Pinto having to interfere.
