One of Chochon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Echegoyen FC:s goal. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Echegoyen FC. Gerardo Silvanito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Gabirel. 0-1. Rene Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fermin Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chochon FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Silvano Tadzio hit a great ball. If Rene Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Egoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Bras to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Rene Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Egoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Dunixi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Egoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Echegoyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Venceslao came free, but Fermin Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chochon FC's Santo Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Donio in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Chochon FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
