Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ezequiel Frantzes started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Flores in the 3rd minute of play forced Tinta Azul FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tinta Azul FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gonzalo Endira hit a great ball. Dionisio Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Landeta defense, Eleuterio Benat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Viviano. The Landeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Viviano should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Gaudencio Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Viviano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Frantzes in the 30th minute of play forced Tinta Azul FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tinta Azul FC's Albano Quirze got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Ezequiel Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dionisio Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Viviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gaudencio Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Benat in the 44th minute of play. If Eleuterio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleuterio Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Basabilvaso made a great header on Tinta Azul FC's corner, it was just that Landeta's Mauricio Viviano managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 54th minute Eleuterio Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Landeta's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Benat came free, but Mauricio Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Landeta's Mauricio Viviano got control of the ball when Gaudencio Ciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tinta Azul FC's Leopoldo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Frantzes in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ciro Manilan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A hard shot by Carmelo Quintyn from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Mauricio Viviano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tinta Azul FC's Leopoldo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Vincente in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Landeta defense, Gaudencio Ciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Viviano. The Landeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Viviano should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Viviano stood somewhat misplaced when Eleuterio Benat came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Gaudencio Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Viviano having to interfere. Tinta Azul FC played a much better game than Landeta and deserved their victory. The Landeta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
