Rivadavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Medero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Erasmo Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Agustin Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hay Equipo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Policarpio got free with Agustin Abeita in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Igor Gonsalve. Agustin Abeita made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Erasmo Policarpio sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Erasmo Policarpio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hay Equipo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Romário Antunes's late challenge caught a Hay Equipo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romário Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. Erasmo Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Abeita having to interfere. Hay Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Policarpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Santo during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Hay Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Santo to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes, Erasmo Policarpio made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rivadavia's Agustin Abeita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hay Equipo had played much better football throughout.
