The supporters of Escalada AFC booed when La Vecchia Signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Kemen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Zula Glaza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Vargas. La Vecchia Signora's Lorenzo Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Servando in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Oier in the 34th minute of play forced Escalada AFC's goalkeeper Calle Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Francisco Isco sped through Escalada AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calle Vallengren. Celedonio Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Vallengren having to interfere. Romulo Kemen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Angel Pagomari came free in the 47th minute and tried to tip the ball over Calle Vallengren, but to the joy of Escalada AFC's supporters the ball went over. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Servando to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Felipe Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Escalada AFC's zone, Francisco Isco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calle Vallengren came out of the goal and Francisco Isco tried to chip the ball over his head.
